Every server should turn on Discord's AutoMod. It's free, it's fast, and it blocks messages before anyone sees them. It works on exact matches though: up to three custom keyword lists, a commonly flagged words list, known spam and mention limits. It can't tell banter from an attack, and scammers learned to dodge it a long time ago.
